A BESPOKE APPROACH
Treatment overview
Professional manual extraction is a thorough and precise skin deep-cleanse that targets and removes the build-up sitting in your pores. It is a hands-on technique that safely clears clogged pores and the deepest, most stubborn whiteheads and blackheads, where machine-led techniques might be insufficient.
Manual extraction is popular in clinics across continental Europe and East and Southeast Asia. In Warsaw, Kraków, Prague, Seoul, Bangkok and Tokyo the treatment is highly praised and easy to find. Bringing this specialised care directly to my clients, DermaClinic in Bristol is proud to be one of the very few UK providers offering this sought-after treatment.
Manual extraction is also one of the treatments men ask for most, so if that's you, you're very welcome here.

THE DERMACLINIC DIFFERENCE
Professional vs at home
Whilst it might be tempting to carry out occasional extractions at home, it is highly recommended not to.
Professional manual extraction performed in a clinical setting is significantly safer and more effective than at-home attempts, because it is conducted under strict sterile conditions by trained professionals using specialised tools. At DermaClinic, I will closely analyse your skin and condition to perform precise, targeted extractions without damaging surrounding tissue or forcing debris deeper into the pores. Performing extractions at home often introduces bacteria, exacerbates inflammation and risks permanent scarring or broken capillaries due to improper technique and inadequate equipment. Professional care ensures thorough pore clearing while protecting the skin's barrier and minimising the risk of secondary infections or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

THE DIFFERENCE KAMILA BRINGS
Why DermaClinic?

I've spent over 25 years caring for skin as an aesthetic practitioner. Extraction is as much about a gentle, careful hand as it is about technique and knowing the skin's anatomy, and because every appointment is one-to-one, I can take the time to do it properly. The clinic is on Baldwin Street in central Bristol, and my work has been recognised by the profession, most recently as an Aureum Awards 2026 finalist across four categories.
